Run a Shortcut from the keyboard.
To set up a hot key for an existing Shortcut:
- Right-click the Shortcut.
The context menu appears.
- Click Properties.
The Properties dialog box appears.
- Click the Shorcut tab.
- Click the Shortcut key text box.
- Press a key to use as a hot key.
If you have selected an F key it appears in the Shortcut key text box.
Or,
If you have selected a letter or number key, a key combination appears in the Shortcut key text box.
- Click OK.
To run the Shortcut, press the key or combination of keys previously displayed in the Shortcut key text box.
For Shortcuts to DOS programs, click the Program tab.
